Shazam is a mobile app that identifies music based on a short sample played by using the microphone on the device. DJs at radio stations uses Shazam's weekly collected data to know which song the public is into.

Shazam also has a “Trending Now” section that reflects a list of songs that got big amount of Shazam tags in a short period of time
